The Larson Justice Center Annex houses Departments 1A, 1B, 1C, and 1D. Entrances to all four courtrooms are wheelchair accessible, and Department 1A is equipped with automated handicapped entry doors. A ramp is located in the front of the Annex for handicapped access.

All individuals seeking entrance to the facility must pass through security screening which includes a metal detector. Screening devices (magnetometers) can accommodate wheelchairs of average size. Individuals with pacemakers or cochlear implants may request screening via a hand held wand from security screening personnel.

Public restrooms are located on the ground floor for each courtroom. All are wheelchair accessible, with wheelchair accessible stalls as well as sinks. Doors on restrooms are not automated for handicapped entry.

A lowered, wheelchair accessible drinking fountain is located near Department 1A. This drinking fountain serves all four departments located at the Annex.

Smoke detectors and fire alarm systems are equipped with strobe lights.

Courtroom Accommodations:

The Larson Justice Center Annex is comprised of adjacent one-story buildings that house four courtrooms. Each courtroom is equipped with wheelchair accessible counsel tables. Jury boxes and witness stands are not wheelchair accessible. Jury deliberation, the jury assembly room, and clerk’s offices that serve the Annex are located at the main Larson Justice Center court facility on Oasis Street.

If a printed transcript of a court hearing is required, please make arrangements to purchase one from the court reporter.

Individuals in need of sign language interpreters may request assistance through the Interpreter Coordinator’s Office.
