Community Meetings

The Court-Community Planning Committee consists of judicial members, legal community members, and citizen members. Legal community members are representatives from justice partners, the county, bar associations, or any other member of the legal community whom the judicial officers may select. Citizen members, who serve two-year terms, are individuals from school administration, law enforcement, local governments and chambers of commerce, as well as persons with leadership roles in various ethnic communities. The committee seeks geographical diversity, with an understanding of the growth that is occurring throughout the county.

Judicial and legal community members meet throughout the year to address committee business. The entire committee, including the citizen members, convenes three times a year in order to discuss community needs and issues as they relate to the courts.
