There have been recent reports that members of the public have been contacted by the court regarding failure to appear for jury service and asked for personal information.  Please be aware that jury services staff for the Superior Court of California, County of Riverside, would, at no time, request personal information such as social security or credit card numbers.  Please report any such contact to the Jury Commissioner’s office as soon as possible.

Jury service is mandatory and prospective jurors' names are obtained from voter registration and DMV records. Service may be required as often as once per year and can be from one day to the length of one trial, starting at 8:00 a.m. and ending at 5:00 p.m. Business attire is suggested.
