As a result, you may not be able to locate your citation when searching in the Court’s database. If your citation is not yet showing in the Courts system, please contact the traffic call center at 951-222-0384 for further instructions. Your citation will not be considered delinquent, and your date to pay and/or appear will be adjusted if your ability to timely remit payment or appear in Court has been adversely impacted by this delay.

  • Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)

    ADR offers alternatives to trial including mediation, arbitration and settlement conferences.

  • Appeals

    An appeal is a request to a higher court requesting a review of a decision made by a lower court.

  • CARE Act

    The Community Assistance, Recovery, and Empowerment (CARE) Act authorizes specified adult persons to petition a civil court to create a voluntary CARE agreement or a court-ordered CARE plan that can include treatment, housing support, and other services for persons with untreated schizophrenia or other psychotic disorders. 

  • Civil

    Lawsuits in civil court can involve a range of areas involving disputes over money, title or possession of real property, enforcing a contract, protecting one's civil rights, or seeking compensation for a civil tort.

    A criminal action is the proceeding by which a person charged with a public offense is accused and brought to justice and punishment.

  • Enhanced Collections

    The Enhanced Collections Division provides a service by assisting the public in paying delinquent court ordered fines and fees.

  • Family Law

    Family Law Court handles cases in which people are ending a marriage or registered domestic partnership, identifying a child’s legal parents, determining custody and visitation issues, establishing or enforcing child and spousal support or dealing with domestic violence issues.

  • Grand Jury

    California is served by a grand jury system that provides a grand jury in each county empowered by law to bring indictments or perform an oversight function into the operation of county and municipal governments.

  • Interpreter Information

    The Interpreter Services Division ensures that a person with limited English proficiency is provided a court interpreter free of charge in all mandated case types.

    Juvenile Court handles both juvenile dependency and delinquency matters.

  • Probate

    Probate Court handles decedent's estates, trust proceedings, guardianship proceedings, conservatorship proceedings, minor's compromises, and mental health filings.

    The court has 22 facilities, and continuously seeks opportunities for reducing operating expenses through the goods and services we acquire from the business community.

  • Traffic

    Vehicle code infractions, municipal code violations, and county ordinances are heard in Traffic Court.
