Building Accommodations:
The Moreno Valley Court consists of two adjacent buildings, one of which houses two courtrooms and the other, which houses a clerk’s office and other customer service programs. The main entrance to the court building is located on the second level of the complex, which is accessed by an exterior elevator located in the courtyard of the complex. The entrance to the adjacent clerk’s office building is also accessed by this exterior elevator.
All individuals seeking entrance to the courtroom building must pass through security screening which includes a metal detector (magnetometer). The screen device can accommodate a wheelchair of average size. Individuals with pacemakers or cochlear implants may request screening via a hand held wand from security screening personnel.
Public restrooms are located in the courtroom building and clerk’s office building. All have wheelchair accessible stalls and sinks. Entry doors to restrooms are not automated.
A wheelchair accessible drinking fountain is in the clerk’s office lobby.
Elevator cabs are equipped with Braille signage and emergency call features to accommodate those with seeing and hearing impairment.
Courtroom Accommodations:
The Moreno Valley Court is a two-building court complex that houses Departments MV1 and MV2. Both courtrooms have wheelchair accessible counsel tables. (Jury boxes and witness stands are not used in this court location.) There is space designated for wheelchairs in each courtroom audience area, each accommodating four wheelchairs.

If a printed transcript of a court hearing is required, please make arrangements to purchase one from the court reporter.
Individuals in need of sign language interpreters may request assistance through the Court's Human Resource Department. Individuals may request Computer Assisted Real-Time Transcription or CART assistance through the ADA Coordinator’s Office by submitting Judicial Council Form MC 410 to the ADA Coordinator in as far advance of the court date as possible and in any event no less than five (5) court days prior to the hearing.
