Guardianship Assistance:

Guardianship petitioners who meet ICLS eligibility requirements can receive help with:

• Completing service requirements for the initial petition and notice of hearing.
• Fulfilling the due diligence requirement for individuals they are unable to serve.
• After completing due diligence, eligible customers are invited to a monthly clinic for assistance with waiving service requirements.

Assistance is available in Corona, Indio, Menifee, and Palms Springs at the dates and times listed here:  

Probate Self Help Services Calendar 

Self-Help Legal Services staff will be available to provide brief services which include explaining available resources, providing access to local and state forms and scheduling one-on-one forms review appointments, workshops or other services.

Services will be available between 8:00am to 11:30am and 1:30pm to 3:45pm.

• Services are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please arrive early, as space may be limited.
• Services are only available to litigants who do not have an attorney.
• Court staff cannot provide legal advice.
• No attorney-client relationship is established through Self Help Legal Services.
